PLEASE PRAY – TBP Prayer Request List – December 2021
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” – Philippians 4:6

Thank you for taking time to read over the following and for praying. Know, as you pray, you are in agreement with many others who are looking at this same list:

CHAUTAUQUA LAKE REGION MEN OF INTEGRITY

  • We praise God for a great turnout for our Men of Integrity “Rise to the Challenge” Event that took place at Camp Mission Meadows on the 16th of October. The great fellowship and the ministry of the Holy Spirit was truly an overflowing answer to prayers.
  • Looking ahead, our leadership team will be meeting this month to seek God regarding 2022 events. Please join them in seeing God’s guidance.

WOMEN OF ENCOURAGEMENT

  • Our women continue to meet for breakfast and to minister to each other in prayer and to be blessed and encouraged by excellent speakers on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Please pray for much Kingdom fruit because of these gatherings.
  • We thank God for the witness and ministry of Kayla Crosby – owner of the Jamestown Jackals basketball team – who shared with the woman who gathered this month on the 11th.
  • Please keep Nina Bell and all the leaders in prayer for spiritual protection and for Holy Spirit guidance as they plan each monthly program and as they follow-up with ministries between gatherings.

ONE-IN-CHRIST

  • Monthly prayer walks have been taking place  in downtown Jamestown thanks to the leadership of Kathleen Collver. Please pray for fruit to come. – There are no walks planned for the winter months, but please pray with us regarding plans for more walks starting in the spring.
  • The Pastor’s Summit to equip pastors and the Church to do our part in combating the spiritual stronghold of racism was greatly blessed by God’s presence. Please pray regarding continued efforts to go forward in unity as we put feet on the prayer for God’s Kingdom to come and for God’s will to be done on earth as in heaven.

OUR BOARD MEMBERS

  • Please pray for Board member, Mike Trenchard, who has been in ICU at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA since the 29th of November. He contracted an unknown bacterium from a tick and it has been destroying all of his vital organs – lungs, kidneys, liver – A miracle is needed and God is the giver of miracles.

SCHOOLS OF PRAYER

  • It is not too soon to start praying into the sessions of our 2022 Regional School of Prayer that is scheduled to take place on these four Saturdays: 12 February, 02 April, 04 June, 03 September. Our host church will be the Healing Word Ministries Church of God in Jamestown.
  • Specific dates are not known at this time, but our Agape Prayer Ministry School will take place in March and in October of 2022. We expect that Conduit Ministries in Jamestown will host the March School and that Wiltsie Community Church in Russell, PA will host the October School.

UGANDA MISSIONS

  • No trips to Uganda took place during 2021 because of COVID and it appears that will continue to be the case in 2022. Nevertheless, the many ministries that we help to support in Uganda need our continued prayers.
  • Praise God, we have been able to provide for the construction of a medical clinic on the campus of the Day Spring High School in Nabweru. This will serve the needs of students at the school and also people from the municipality. A continued prayer and provision need now is for the staffing, the furnishing of the clinic, medical supplies, and the boring of a water well for the clinic.  Prayers are also request for Pastor Edward Kizito as he oversees this growing school. – Uganda schools have been closed during 2021 because of COVID, but they will open on the 3rd of January 2022.
  • Please keep the Olympus Children’s primary school in prayer as they have outgrown their rented space in Nansana, and they are building a new campus outside the city on a small acreage. Pray for Philemon Setyabule as he oversees this ministry. – Praise God for a freshwater well that has now been installed at the acreage; it serves the needs of hundreds of people from that area.
  • Many orphaned and abandoned children in Uganda are sponsored for their school tuition and related expenses through The Better Place. Please pray for good health, protection and full provision for our “Shalom Children.” – Praise God our Shalom children have been able to keep up with their school during 2021 by a combination of on-line teaching, in-home tutors, and by the older children helping the younger children. Pray for a good 2022 school year as they return in in-class instruction.
  • Please continue to pray for a miracle of healing for two of our Shalom Children who were born HIV positive. Pray that the HIV in Esther and in Kevin be removed; so they will be HIV negative and freed from this virus.
  • AND please continue to pray for this: We are in the process of forming a new ministry that will be called the East Africa Initiate and Sustain Foundation. Once this new ministry is officially/legally established; the many Uganda initiatives that have made a home beneath The Better Place wings will fly the nest and belong to the EAIS Foundation. Our application to incorporate this new ministry has been sitting in a government office in the NYS capital since the first week of March 2021; they claim they are way behind because of COVID.

THE BETTER PLACE

  • Please keep praying toward the complete fulfillment of God’s vision for The Better Place.
  • You can track all of our upcoming 2022 activities and ministry on our Facebook timeline as well as on the COMING EVENTS page and the NEWS page of our web site.
  • Please join us in praying for God to work a great good through the pandemic and that He ultimately be glorified by miraculously obliterating the COVID-19 leading to a great awakening and the salvation of millions of souls.
  • Please pray for overflowing financial provision for this ministry.

    Thank you for your prayers!
